Tahini Herb Dressing

I saw Derek, from Simnett Nutrition, create this recipe and I wanted to try it out. It is so flavorful and EASY that I make it quite a bit!

Sauces can really increase the flavor in a dish - and they are easy! Ever since finding his YouTube channel I am always thinking about a sauce or dressing I can make, from scratch, that will be more flavorful then what I can find at the grocery store!


Ingredients:

1 cup water

2 tablespoons tahini

1/4 avocado

1 medjadool date

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon parsley

1 teaspoon dill

Pinch of pepper

- BLEND


Side note - did you know you can freeze avocados? I feel like we all sometimes miss that magical time where we can eat the avocados before they go bad. Before that happens freeze them! I know so many sauce recipes include 1/4 of an avocado or 1/2 of an avocado....what do you do with the rest??!! I now have a few halves of avocado in my freezer specifically for sauce recipes. I have heard they don't have the same consistency after the freezer, but it doesn't matter in a SAUCE! Yay!
