Protein Donuts

I have talked about these things so much I thought it was time to do a YouTube video!

My friend, FittieRN / Andi, posted these on Instagram and I immediately tried them and have had one almost every day since I learned about them (I even took them with me on a trip!!)!

The macros, with TRU protein (10andrepen - 10% discount) and using water are:

Recipe - 4 servings -


-40 grams - oat flour

- 15 grams - vital wheat gluten

- 30 grams - protein powder (or one scoop)

- 5 grams - cocoa powder

- 5 grams - flax meal

- 1/2 teaspoon - baking powder

- 1/2 teaspoon - baking soda

- 3/4 cup plant based milk or water

Mix all together and place in donut pans. Cooking times may vary - I normally cook mine for 35 minutes at 350 degrees.


24 grams - PB2

2 tablespoons - sugar free maple syrup

Mix together
